peek a boo!

I have returned to the livejournal community for a litmited time only due to popular demand... and by popular demand I mean people yelling at me to write in my journal.

Been busy busy lately. working a lot tutoring people in Japanese. First I was just going to tutor a girl from my old school because yoko sensei my high school Japanese teacher asked me if I would. I of course said yes because it's a job, I get to practice japanese, and I get to learn more about the various methods to teach people Japanese. I was only supposed to teach her for a month and then go off and look for another job. two weeks into teaching this girl I run into a friend on PSU campus who is taking the entire 2nd year of Japanese in the summer. He said he really needs to practice and would to have me tutor him. I had previous tutored this guy and others in the spring term of this year but it was for free because it was a requirement for my Japanese practicum class to tutor students for so many hours a week. So I will be tutoring him in Japanese for the rest of the summer. It's really fun and a learning experience for us both. Very convenient for me I meet him on campus and we study several times a week. I wanted a job that would help me pay my rent increase and other needs and this tutor job does that. woo.

ooo I got into something last month that I have only told a few people about. So for all of you who knew about it and I have not told you the news...well I got in. It is pretty sweet.

started hanging out with james and his friends. all stared a few months ago when I went to the montage with my sister kendra her brother, danny and some friends of James. Had a lovely night and was good to meet people and see people I had not seen in a while. Then during the first few weeks of summer James calls and invites me to a BBQ. I attend the gathering with kendra and a great time is had. I became better friends with joe and his twin. we sat and talked about games and crazy stuff. Joe and I made plans to have a DDR party sometime in the future.

After the BBQ I later hung out with James we went to see land of the dead and ran around town. Then DDRmageddon happened a week later and it was so much fun. I had a broken/bruised pinky toe but that only sorta stopped me from dancing the night away. I got to play the Playstation version of DDR and it was crazy. Met more new people got to know them, crazy 7-11 run, found out all about some of the guys D&D characters, watched adult swim, and had a great time.

two days a go I hung out with Joe downtown. we ate at pepinos and wandered around town and talk about various things. great to get to know him better. we made plans to make horde characters on Wow because he is currently playing on a non PVP server just because his friends are. His friends are much higher level than he is so he does not even get to play with them. So we made plans to play on a PVP server. It's going to be very fun. Also an invader zim marathon was planned, and leah possibly partaking in his group of friends D&D campaign. I am so learned that Joe and his friends will be having a go cart jousting competition this holloween and I can't wait to see how that turns out. It is post apocalyptic themed and I saw part of their costumes when I was over at DDR night and they are pretty bad ass.

I have been play WoW alot. I am now level 40. I need to hearth back to town and get my dire bear form and some new spells. woo.

been really hot. three cheers for max and inviting friend over to cool off in his pool. I <3 that pool and miss it so. >_<
the pool and I are good friends.

trying to read the new harry potter but have been so busy. It's good so far though.

hanging out with my mum a lot too. We do our weekly grocery and bank run. Then we hunker down and watch a movie and perhaps play spite and malice.

I have been watching lots of movies lately because I recieved in the mail coupons for hollywood video where I can rent up to three movies, new or old, and they will be 99cents each instead of 3.69 each....which is really good. went to see willy wonka and the chocolate factory with trent, madeline, and steve. it was good. I liked how willy wonka's past was brought up. I also liked a lot of other things. Last night I watched ichi the killer crazy movie it was. The night before I watched a movie that involved warewolf samurai. Kind of a let down. I know you must be thinking how can a werewolf samurai movie be a left down!! well it was.... I don't recommend the movie.

ack turning 20 in a week. crazy

ack so much stuff happening in my life I can't write it all down. but this should be good as a little up date on my life.
